Day 1: Participants will explore adavu aesthetics and techniques to develop greater clarity, precision, and confidence in nritta. The session will then introduce the fundamentals of bhavams, followed by guided abhinaya-building exercises. Teaching of an original item will begin.
Day 2: Participants will apply their adavu knowledge through the learning and practice of a short jathi, followed by the completion and refinement of the original item.
Studio-recorded music for the item, along with a recording of the workshop, will be provided to all participants for continued practice.

Shreyas Nair is upcoming Bharatnatyam solist who currently trains under the tutelage of Upadhye
School of Dance by the celebrated dancers, Shri Parshwanath Upadhye, Shri Adithya PV and Smt.Shruti Gopal. He started his journey in Bharatanatyam at the tender age of 7, under the able guidance of Smt. Sreeja Warrier in Mumbai and his love for the artform led him to the dancing duo Shri Renjith Babu and Smt.Vijna Vasudevan. He is also a student and performer of the artform of Kathakali, learning under Shri Kalamandalam Gopalakrishnan. Shreyas is also a choreographer and has performed in many acclaimed stages across the globe.
